At The Wandering Vine Travel LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we value your privacy. “Personal information” means information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to a specific person. It does not include de-identified or aggregated data.

  • Inquiry & planning forms: name, email, phone, traveler details (e.g., dates of birth), passport/ID info (when needed for booking), preferences (dietary, mobility, room), and trip budgets/interests.

  • Payment: payment details collected through a secure third-party processor to pay suppliers on your behalf.

  • Communications: messages, emails, and attachments you send us.

  • Events & downloads: RSVP and content request information.

  • Careers: CV, work history, references, and other application data if you apply for a role.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Device/usage data: IP address, browser, pages viewed, time on site, and links clicked.

  • Cookies & similar tech: for site functionality, analytics, and (optionally) advertising measurement. You can control cookies in your browser (see Your Choices).

C. Information from Other Sources

  • Travel partners and suppliers: updates from hotels, tour operators, cruise lines, DMCs, consolidators, air partners, and insurance providers to coordinate your trip.

  • Service providers: CRM, itinerary, and payment platforms share limited info needed to operate our Services.

  • Marketing & social: analytics and campaign performance data from trusted platforms.

2) How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide and personalize services, plan trips, make reservations, process payments, and deliver itineraries.

  • Communicate proposals, confirmations, changes, alerts, and support.

  • Improve and secure our site and services.

  • Send thoughtful marketing and travel inspiration (you may opt out).

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

  • Any other purpose disclosed at collection or with your consent.

3) How We Share Information

We may share information with:

  • Travel suppliers and partners to plan and fulfill your trip.

  • Service providers (e.g., payment processors, itinerary/CRM platforms, website hosting, analytics) under agreements to protect your data.

  • Analytics & advertising partners (e.g., Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Microsoft) for measurement and marketing relevance.

  • Legal and safety authorities as required by law or to protect rights and property.

  • Business transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale.

  • With your consent or at your direction.

We do not sell personal information.

4) Your Choices

  • Emails: Unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in each message. Transactional communications may still be sent for active trips.

  • Cookies: Manage or block cookies in your browser or device settings. You may also use Google’s Analytics Opt-Out Add-On and mobile ad preferences.

  • Access & updates: Request access, correction, or deletion of your data at liz@thewanderingvinetravel.com. We may verify your identity.

5) State-Specific Privacy Rights

Some U.S. states (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and others) have enacted privacy laws granting residents certain rights, such as the right to access, delete, or correct personal information, and to opt out of certain data uses.

If you are a resident of one of these states, you may exercise your applicable privacy rights by contacting us at liz@thewanderingvinetravel.com. We will respond to verifiable requests in accordance with the requirements of the relevant state law.

We do not sell personal information as defined under these laws, and we do not use personal information for profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

6) Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill your trips, operate our business, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify the data.

7) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No system is 100% secure—please use caution when transmitting information online and contact us if you suspect unauthorized activity.

8) Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13. We comply with COPPA and applicable U.S. laws. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, contact liz@thewanderingvinetravel.com and we will take appropriate action.

9) International Visitors

Our Services are operated in the United States and intended for individuals located in the U.S. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you understand your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. and other jurisdictions where our providers operate.

We may update this Privacy Notice periodically. Updates will be posted with a new Effective Date. Significant changes may also be communicated via email or site banner. Please review this page periodically.
